IKEA Has a Terrible Return Process and No Refund Policy

I received a defective product and reported the issue, providing them with requested photos via email. Clearly expressing my preference for a refund rather than a replacement, IKEA responded, mentioning a probable replacement. I reiterated my desire for a refund twice. Surprisingly, they dispatched a new product without my consent. I declined the replacement, and now, customer service states that my refund might be delayed and could even be rejected if the product sustains damage during transport. This is absurd since they initially sent the defective product. I never requested a new item. Additionally, the specific store in Bursa is handling the return, and it appears they lack a consistent return and refund policy. It seems each store operates independently. IKEA's customer service is unhelpful, and their products, though expensive, are subpar.
