Hotels.com Charged Me for a Hotel Stay That Was Unusable and Refused a Refund

I’m extremely disappointed with Hotels.com for promoting hotels that are completely unfit for stay. I booked a property through their platform, only to find out upon arrival that the hotel was in no condition to accommodate guests—it was either closed, unsafe, or simply not as advertised.
Despite not being able to stay there, I was still charged the full amount, and my request for a refund was outright denied. Hotels.com continues to list such places and shifts all responsibility away from themselves when things go wrong.
This is unacceptable. If you’re going to advertise properties, you need to ensure they’re usable. I demand a full refund and immediate action to prevent others from being misled and charged for stays that never happen.
