Hello. I experienced this exact issue back in the summer of 2023, and sadly, it's now happening again in 2025. I booked a hotel through Hotels.com, only to be contacted later—not by the platform, but by the hotel itself—telling me they are under renovation and don’t even have a confirmed reopening date.

This is not an isolated case. It’s part of a pattern of repeated trip cancellations caused by Hotels.com listing properties that aren’t actually available or ready to operate. It’s frustrating and unacceptable that I have to deal with the same problem year after year, especially after planning and paying in advance.

Hotels.com, this is your responsibility. You should ensure that your listings are accurate and up to date. If a hotel is closed or under construction, it should not be available for booking. I demand an immediate resolution, whether it’s a refund, an alternative booking of equal value, or clear information.
