We each ended up with three or four new items of clothing from the H&M web store. We returned the garments to the store in the Mall of Istanbul because the sizes did not work for us. After waiting in line for twenty minutes, the store clerks informed us that we would need to send the returns through a cargo company called Yurtici Kargo, which accepts deliveries from private residences. However, Yurtici Kargo did not show up and did not pick up the package for four days, despite their assurances that they would do so between 9:00 and 18:00 local time. Morning and night, we called, but they never showed up without providing an explanation. We used up a lot of gas, but we tracked down a Yurtici Kargo outlet in the most remote part of the city, on a side street, and personally delivered the shipment back. In my experience, customers of H&M's online store are very diligent in their pursuit of returns. Either H&M needs to start accepting returns from stores again, or it needs to switch the cargo company it uses. This level of inexperience does not belong in the middle of management, and it is becoming increasingly apparent that this is the case.
