H&M refused to exchange a dress with a small size

A simple excgange issue brough me here today, I went to switch my item, when I got there, a nice worker told me they couldn't do an exchange or refund, even though both of the coats I had ordered online were too big for my 7-year-old daughter. Due to the size and policies of your company, it looks like you don't accept returns on items that have already been shipped, they are not worn or used. As a paying customer, I find this very annoying, and it goes against what your company says it will do to make me happy, or was it just a saying? Couldn't get my voice heard in your store so, I'm writing to ask you to make an exception and replace the item with one that is the right size. I would also like to know what your policies are so that other customers don't have to go through the same thing. I think it's a bad idea that you can't return things you bought online in a store. H&M should make this more clear on its website so customers can make better decisions when they shop. I hope you can find a way to solve this problem and give me the replacement I asked for.
