Gratis Order Cancellation Trouble

I made a purchase with Gratis and attempted to cancel it the following day. Even though their system confirmed the order, they declined to cancel it, stating it was already being prepared. Upon receiving the product, they dismissed my refund request and advised me to return it. Even though 15 days had gone by, my online order hadn't arrived yet. After reaching out to customer service once more about the cancellation, they eventually started the process. They let me know that the refund would only be issued within 15 days of the delivery company delivering the products to the warehouse. I have yet to receive my payment, and I am unsure about the whereabouts of the products. I'm patiently awaiting the funds from this reputed company. If the delivery company misplaced the package, why am I the one who has to deal with the consequences?
