GAP Delayed My Order and Canceled Without Notice
On September 25, I purchased a pair of sweatpants from GAP online, and it showed as in stock. For days, the order status remained “preparing,” so I contacted customer service, and they assured me it was being prepared and would ship soon. However, on October 2, I received a message saying that my order had been canceled and a refund would be issued, even though I never requested a cancellation. When I called customer service again, they initially told me the item was packaged and ready to ship, but then said there was a mistake and that the product was out of stock. It took them 8 days to figure this out! Why did it show in stock when I purchased it? My payment was taken immediately, yet they waited until now to inform me it was unavailable. I’ve always liked GAP products, but this experience has been extremely disappointing. Please resolve this and issue my refund as soon as possible.
