I’ve been playing EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Team on PlayStation 5, and for a long time, I’ve been experiencing serious gameplay imbalances and unfair mechanics. The game clearly favors players who spend money, creating a huge gap between paying and non-paying users.
As someone who doesn’t spend money in the game, it’s almost impossible to compete — no matter how strategic or skillful I play, the system constantly gives an advantage to players with expensive squads. It feels like football intelligence doesn’t matter anymore, only how much you pay does.
In addition, goalkeepers are practically useless — they often just stand still when the ball passes right in front of them, and they don’t react at all to low crosses or close shots. This completely destroys the game’s claim of realism.
Every year, EA claims to make gameplay more realistic, but instead, it gets worse with each update. I’m honestly regretting buying the game because of how unfair it has become.
I’m demanding that EA Games fix these gameplay imbalances and restore fairness so that strategy and football IQ can actually matter again — not just how much money a player spends.
