I purchased the Dyson V12 Detect Slim Absolute two years ago, spending a significant amount of money, and have used it with utmost care. I followed all instructions, ensured the filter dried for 24 hours after washing, and cleaned it meticulously. Despite this, the vacuum constantly displays "airflow blocked" and "filter needs cleaning" warnings. These issues have persisted almost from the day I bought it.
After researching, I found suggestions to clean every part and even use a blow dryer. But honestly, if I need to go through this much trouble every time I clean, why did I pay so much for this vacuum? The attachment for cleaning under furniture is also poorly designed—it broke without any impact, and I’ve heard the same from others.
When I contacted customer service, their advice was simply to clean the filter, which temporarily fixed the issue during a video call. However, the warnings returned within five minutes of use. I am extremely dissatisfied with the product and service. I won’t remove this complaint, and I expect Dyson to resolve these issues without further inconvenience.
