Dyson Gen5 Vacuum Turns Off by Itself

In February 2024, I purchased a Dyson Gen5 vacuum. Since then, I’ve been experiencing several problems with the device. First, the vacuum turns off by itself during use. Sometimes it works for 5 minutes, sometimes 20 minutes, but the issue happens repeatedly. In addition, there’s a noticeable looseness where the main wand connects to the vacuum, which negatively affects comfort and usability. The service center claimed this looseness was “normal,” but I strongly disagree — it should not be like this.

Moreover, the silicone parts of the vacuum began to peel within a short time, and the battery adapter has been slightly bent since the day I bought it. Due to all these issues, I handed the vacuum over to the service center last Tuesday. They informed me that the process could take about 16 days, or even longer if necessary.

I am requesting that these problems be permanently resolved. Specifically, I want the self-shutdown issue to be completely fixed, the connection part replaced, and the looseness problem eliminated when the device is returned from service. Ideally, I would prefer that my device be renewed entirely as this would be the most satisfactory solution.

Supposedly, a modification was made to the body of the device. My problem still persists. The device shuts itself off. Every five minutes, it stops for no reason. Since I can't record it for hours, I was only able to record it once when it stopped. So whatever the solution is, please fix it. Dyson has not solved my problem. When you pay a ton of money and can't get service, you regret it. The problem has not been resolved...
