We booked Antalya–Vienna tickets from Corendon Airlines as two families. Unfortunately, just before the trip, my spouse suffered two fractures in her knee, and her doctor clearly advised against flying, providing an official medical report. Despite this urgent and medically justified reason, Corendon flatly refused to refund or credit our tickets, leaving us completely unsupported.
I initially called their customer service to explain that this wasn’t a change of plans or a casual cancellation—the other family continued the trip, but we had no choice due to my spouse’s health. Yet I was told they couldn’t assist over the phone and that I needed to fill out a form online. I submitted the form as instructed. They promised a response within 72 hours, but after a full week of silence, I had to follow up myself.
When I finally got someone on the phone, all they did was repeat the same unhelpful script—no refund, no rescheduling option, no empathy whatsoever. I find it unacceptable that even international airlines offer partial refunds or rescheduling with a fee, while Corendon refuses to show basic human decency or flexibility, especially in a health emergency.
As a resident of Antalya, I am truly disappointed and embarrassed by the way this local airline operates. I strongly urge Corendon to reconsider their policies and provide compensation in cases of documented medical necessity. This kind of treatment is not what any traveler deserves.
