Corendon Airlines Demanded Double for a Simple Date Change

This was hands down the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with any airline. I purchased a ticket through Corendon Airlines, mistakenly entering the wrong travel date. I reached out immediately, expecting to correct the issue with a reasonable fee, but instead was told I'd have to pay the same amount as my original ticket—or more—just to change the date.
How can a company justify charging double the fare for a minor correction? It’s outrageous. And the situation was made worse by how unhelpful the customer service team was. I couldn’t get any real support from anyone. No flexibility, no empathy, no solutions—just a robotic response asking for more money.
I booked with Corendon thinking I’d be supporting a Turkish airline, but the service was below average and the treatment I received felt like I was being punished for an honest mistake. I find it unacceptable that there’s no oversight on these exploitative policies.
And while Corendon claims to operate with “honest earnings,” I say this: I do not give my blessing for the money I paid. It was earned dishonestly through unjust fees and zero accountability. I hope others think twice before choosing this airline.
