Corendon Airlines Damaged Both My Suitcases and Offered Only ₺400 for ₺10K Loss
On January 29, I flew with Corendon Airlines from Medina to Istanbul. Upon arriving at Istanbul Airport, I collected my luggage only to find both of my suitcases were severely damaged. One was completely torn apart, and the other had both a torn exterior and broken wheels. I immediately reported the issue to Corendon staff, who told me to submit a formal complaint through their website.
The result? They told me my ₺10,000 worth of luggage could be repaired for just ₺400, and that was all they were willing to offer. Naturally, I refused, but they still rejected my appeal. And the worst part? It’s been over two months, and I haven’t even received the ₺400 they originally promised.
I deeply regret flying with Corendon Airlines. Not only do they refuse to fairly compensate passengers, they also delay even their minimal payments. Shame on them for such poor service and disregard for customer rights. I demand proper compensation for the damage caused.
