My niece had a flight from Cologne/Bonn Airport to Çukurova Airport on 14/08/2024. A few days prior, we completed the online check-in through their app and even purchased extra baggage. Today, when my niece went to the counter to get her boarding pass, they said they couldn't see the online check-in in their system and demanded an additional €10 for a regular check-in.
It's frustrating that they can't do their job correctly. You complete the online check-in, yet you still have to go to the counter. When you do, they can't see this information in their system. Moreover, their app doesn't show any details about your check-in, and they don't send any confirmation via email either.
In summary, they open all channels to charge you more money. And they are doing this to a 15-year-old girl traveling alone. Thankfully, she had some pocket money with her, but what if she didn't? Would they have left her stranded there? Is the extra money worth putting a child through this? I hope they still have some shame!
