On October 25, 2025, during our Corendon Airlines flight from Cologne to Çukurova (PNR: Y26538), two tickets were issued under our names, and one included a wheelchair assistance request. Because of this additional service, I was unable to check in online through the app. Based on my previous experiences, I knew that in such cases, the airport check-in should be free of charge. In fact, during earlier trips, I had encountered the same issue and was never charged a fee.
However, this time at the airport, we were charged a 10€ check-in fee per person, totaling 20€. We had tried to check in online both the day before and on the morning of the flight, but the system kept showing an error message indicating that check-in could be completed for free at the airport. When my mother explained this to the staff and mentioned that the error was not on our end, the employee responded dismissively, saying, “Your daughter must have misread it; you were supposed to check in through the app.” We paid the fee in cash, and I have the receipt as proof.
I believe this fee was unfairly charged and request a refund of the 20€, along with an acknowledgment of the mistake to resolve our grievance. I kindly ask for a written response via email regarding this issue.
