Converse Quality Issue Causes Discomfort

On February 17, 2023, I purchased a pair of Converse shoes from Boyner. The inner back part of the shoe has come apart, causing discomfort and starting to harm my foot. This issue has not only diminished the expected performance from the product's quality but also caused physical discomfort and pain. The current price of the shoes is ₺3200. Purchasing shoes at this price with the expectation of wearing them for years makes encountering such a problem disappointing, as it indicates a lack of commitment to the product's quality!

I reported this issue to the store and requested either a refund or an exchange. However, my request was denied. Upon researching similar complaints, I discovered that many consumers in the same region have experienced similar issues. This suggests there may be a defect in the product's manufacturing or materials used.

According to the relevant articles of Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection, in case of identifying a defective product, consumers are entitled to choose remedies such as return, exchange, or free repair. In this context, I request that my grievance be addressed and my request for refund or exchange be reconsidered within the framework of my legal rights.
