I bought a brand-new 2024 Chery Tiggo 7 ProMax in December, and I’m already facing serious brake issues. After only 4,000–5,000 kilometers, the brake discs started to go bad. Now, at just 5,150 km, the car vibrates heavily every time I press the brake pedal. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable for a vehicle that’s practically brand new.
I haven’t gone to the service center yet, but I’ve been reading reviews online and it looks like I’m not alone — many Chery owners are experiencing the exact same issue. Clearly, this is not an isolated problem, and Chery needs to take responsibility for what seems like a widespread manufacturing defect.
I’ve scheduled a service appointment for this Saturday, and I expect a proper solution. If the company is aware of this recurring issue, why hasn’t there been a recall or at least proactive communication? I chose this vehicle based on the brand’s reputation, but this early and critical failure is making me regret that decision. I demand a full inspection and permanent fix at no cost.
