I Face Brake Noise on My Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max Before 7500KM and Was Denied Warranty

To Chery Türkiye Representatives,

I purchased a 2024 Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max brand new. However, before even reaching 7500 km, I began hearing an irritating screeching or rubbing noise from the brake discs or pads, especially at speeds over 100 km/h. I took the car in for a test drive with an authorized service technician, and the issue was acknowledged and confirmed on the spot.

Despite this, I was told that brake discs are only covered under warranty for up to 5000 km, and therefore no action would be taken. This is completely unacceptable — the noise started well before hitting 5000 km, it simply became more noticeable over time. Denying service under warranty for a defect that emerged within the warranty period is legally and technically unjustified.

Furthermore, I was advised to have the pads cleaned with CNC machining — which is nothing more than a temporary, cosmetic fix for a brand-new vehicle. A car with zero prior misuse should not require patchwork repairs like this. The issue demands a permanent solution, such as proper part replacement or a factory-level fix.

Let me be clear: this issue did not result from improper use. Many other Tiggo 7 Pro Max owners have reported the same brake noise problem, indicating this is a widespread quality issue, not an isolated incident.

My request is simple: Chery should fully investigate this brake-related problem under warranty and provide the necessary part replacements to resolve it permanently. If this is not addressed properly, I will not hesitate to take the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and pursue all legal channels available to me.

I expect this issue to be handled with the seriousness it deserves.
