I purchased my Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max in December 2024, and ever since passing 50 km/h, I have noticed a loud humming noise and steering wheel vibration during braking. The shaking is clearly felt inside the car whenever the brakes are applied.
I first reported this issue during the 5,000 km maintenance, but was told it was not a serious problem. Today, at my 15,000 km service at Istanbul Yenibosna Chery Park, I raised the issue again. During a test drive, the problem was confirmed by the service team. However, instead of resolving it under warranty, I was told that the brake discs are not covered, and I would need to pay ₺25,500 for replacement.
I want to emphasize that I always drive carefully, avoid harsh braking, and my car has never been in an accident. For brake discs to warp or fail so early at only 15,000 km is unacceptable and points to a clear manufacturing defect. My vehicle is still under warranty, yet I am being denied coverage for one of the most critical safety components.
Brakes are a vital safety feature, and this defect directly compromises both my safety and that of my family. I demand that Chery cover the brake disc replacement under warranty and take responsibility for what is clearly a defect.
