I have been experiencing serious problems with the keyless entry and range on my Chery Pro Max 8 since May 2025. Unlike my older cars, where the doors opened instantly from several meters away, with this vehicle I often have to press the button multiple times before the doors unlock.
I had the issue checked at the authorized A**** service center in Trabzon. Although it sometimes seemed to improve temporarily, the problem quickly returned, and it still persists. When I contacted both the service and customer support, I was told that the key was working normally. However, the issue is very clear—it works inconsistently, sometimes functioning and other times failing, with no specific conditions that trigger it.
The car is still under warranty, and since the key is rechargeable, no battery replacement has been attempted. I have also learned that other users are facing the same problem.
My expectation from Chery is that the key be replaced and that this issue be permanently resolved. I urgently request assistance.
