My 2024 Chery Tiggo 8 Rear Camera Has Been Broken for Over a Month with No Replacement

I’m a 2024 Chery Tiggo 8 owner, and I’ve been dealing with a rear camera malfunction that still hasn’t been fixed after more than a month. I brought my vehicle to the Karahallılar Chery service center in Balıkesir on March 27, 2025. After inspecting the car, they confirmed that the rear camera was defective. However, they also told me the replacement part was not in stock and had to be ordered.

Now it’s been over 37 days, and I’ve received no update—except that the part still hasn’t arrived at the service center. This delay is completely unacceptable. A safety-critical feature like the camera system should not take over a month to replace on a brand-new car.

I feel completely let down and ignored. I’m driving a vehicle with a known defect, and no one from Chery is taking responsibility for timely repairs. I demand that this issue be resolved immediately. Either send the part or provide an alternative solution. I didn’t buy a brand-new SUV to wait endlessly for basic functionality to be restored.
