Need Refund Due To Cancellation Being Done Before Date Of Charge
I made a reservation through Booking.com for the Motel 6 on Pan American Freeway in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with confirmation number 5631633***. I canceled my reservation on 06/11/2026 within the allowed time and I did not stay at the property. I am expecting a full refund of $78.47 and also the $8 travel protection I purchased, but I have not been able to get clear information or confirmation about my refund. My biggest problem is with Booking.com’s customer service. I have tried to reach a real person several times, and on the rare occasions I get connected, they either put me on hold for a long time or simply hang up on me. My questions about whether my refund will be processed are not being answered at all, and I am left without any information or assurance. I request that my full refund of $78.47 plus the $8 travel protection be processed as soon as possible and that I receive written confirmation of this. I also expect Booking.com to review how my customer service calls were handled, as being repeatedly hung up on is unacceptable when I am just trying to resolve a legitimate refund issue.
