Lost My Free Taxi Benefit – No Support From Booking.com


Hello, We made a hotel reservation on Booking.com for 5 people in Paris. Unfortunately, my friends couldn’t get their visas, so I’ll have to go alone. As part of this reservation, I earned a free taxi service. However, since the taxi was automatically arranged for 5 people, I wanted to change it — and while doing so, the reservation got cancelled. When I tried to rebook it, a fee of €85 appeared. There is no contact number available anywhere for Booking’s taxi service. When I tried to reach out via email, they redirected me to Booking. However, Booking says that they cannot see the cancellation in their system and that there's nothing they can do, claiming that Booking’s taxi service is a separate platform and the issue is not their responsibility. Even though I’ve been trying to get information for about a week, they’ve been stalling me, and today, after a phone call, they finally said there's nothing they can do. As a result, my free taxi benefit was taken away from me for no reason.

They closed the complaint without any response.
