Booking.com Promised Free Airport Taxi but Hotel Charged Me Extra Anyway

While planning our vacation, I was searching for a hotel on Booking.com and specifically chose one that clearly displayed “Free Airport Taxi” as a perk. Since we were traveling abroad, every cost mattered—and this feature convinced me to book without hesitation.
As the trip approached, I contacted the hotel to confirm the airport transfer. That’s when I was told the service was not free and came with an extra charge. They said I needed to speak with Booking.com about it. In the end, I had no choice but to pay for something that was advertised as included.
This is misleading and completely unfair. I even have screenshots showing that the airport taxi was listed as free at the time of booking.
Booking.com, I demand a refund for the taxi fee I was wrongly charged. If your platform advertises a feature, you need to make sure hotels honor it. This kind of miscommunication and false advertising causes unnecessary stress and costs for travelers.
