I Face Refund Delay After Canceled Hotel Marena Paris Booking on Booking.com

On August 16, 2025, I booked a stay at Hotel Marena in Paris through Booking.com. The following day, August 17 at 16:33, I received an email stating that my reservation could only be completed if my credit card was valid. I updated my Mastercard details as requested, and shortly after, €160 (₺8,072.62) was charged to my account in one transaction.
Not long after this, the hotel staff informed me that their page had been hacked and they were experiencing issues. When I contacted the hotel directly, they assured me that my reservation would be canceled and the payment would be refunded. However, even after 8 hours, no refund was issued. I also tried messaging the hotel through Booking.com, but I have not received any response. My reservation was canceled, even though my booking clearly showed I had the right to free cancellation until October 13, 2025, at 23:59. My confirmation number was 6053527485.
I demand that the €160 charged to my card be refunded immediately without further delay. Booking.com must ensure that both the hotel and its platform are accountable for this situation.
