I Face Overcharge and Payment Issue with Booking.com Regency Plaza Resort

I recently booked a stay at Regency Plaza Aqua Park and SPA Resort through Booking.com and encountered a serious payment issue. My reservation confirmation number is 4837155843 with PIN code 6914. According to the booking terms, I had free cancellation until August 31, 2025, and the total amount due was ₺56,682.57. However, on August 25, 2024, when I paid with my credit card, I was wrongly charged ₺58,249.25.

Although the payment appeared in my bank’s authorization system, Booking.com still shows my reservation as unpaid, putting me at risk of cancellation. This means I have been both overcharged and left uncertain about the security of my booking. After contacting my bank, I was informed that the payment was already approved by Booking.com’s accounting system but left pending under authorization, which prevents it from being reflected properly.

Since August 25, 2024, I have repeatedly contacted Booking.com customer service, but I have received no response or resolution. At this point, I demand two things:

The immediate correction of the overcharged amount.

Assurance that my reservation remains valid and secure, without requiring a second payment.

I expect Booking.com to urgently resolve this issue and provide me with a clear written update to prevent further financial loss.
