On July 22, 2025, I made a reservation through Booking.com, where the confirmed price for my booking was ₺6,649. However, when I checked my credit card statement, I saw that ₺6,891 had been charged instead—₺242 more than the agreed-upon amount. The promotional campaign I joined clearly stated the amount as ₺6,649, and yet I was overcharged with no explanation.
In addition, I had made another hotel reservation through Booking.com, which was later rejected by the property. I was told that the payment would be refunded. While the cancellation was confirmed and the refund was supposedly processed, the refund amount has still not been credited to my account.
I’ve tried to contact Booking.com for both issues, but no meaningful response or resolution has been provided. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in the platform. It is unacceptable to be overcharged and then ignored when trying to recover my money.
If a solution is not provided immediately, I will be pursuing legal action to recover the amount owed to me. I demand that Booking.com issue a full refund for the rejected reservation and return the overcharged difference from my recent booking.
