Hotel Grand Father Agra Dirty Room, AC Issues and Overcharged Bill

I stayed at Hotel Grand Father in Taj Nagri, Agra between 9 and 11 July and the experience was extremely disappointing from the moment I entered the room. There was practically no cleaning done: the bedsheets and pillow covers were filthy and stained with what appeared to be bodily fluids, the cushions were torn, and the bed itself was broken. On top of that, the TV in the room did not work at all during my stay. The situation became even worse when the management repeatedly turned off the air conditioning of our room from their main control. During a stay of only two nights, the AC was cut off six times, which made it very uncomfortable, especially given the weather conditions. When I reported all these issues, including the dirty linens, broken bed, non-working TV and the AC being turned off, the staff and management did not take my complaints seriously and did not make any real effort to resolve them. In addition to the unacceptable condition of the room and the poor service, I was overcharged compared to my original booking price. My Booking.com confirmation shows a total of 1,078.20 Rs for the stay, yet I was charged 1,239 Rs in the end, with extra fees added on top of the confirmed amount without proper explanation or justification. This combination of unhygienic conditions, non-functioning amenities, repeated interruption of AC by the hotel, dismissive attitude from the staff and unjustified overcharging made my stay feel like a complete scam. Considering all of this, I request a full refund of the 1,239 Rs I paid for this reservation and I expect the hotel and platform to review this property so that similar treatment is not repeated for other guests.
