Booking.com Hotel Room Was Dirty and the Air Conditioner Didn't Work
I made a reservation through Booking.com for Red Roof Inn Cleveland - Mentor/ Willoughby for a stay on July 3–4, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the experience. The room I was given was in unacceptable condition in terms of cleanliness, and the basic facilities were not functioning properly. When I checked the room, I found cigarette butts under the bed, which clearly showed that the room had not been cleaned properly. The bathtub had a brown residue, and the entire bathroom and room had a strong musty, basement-like smell that made it very unpleasant and concerning from a hygiene perspective. In addition, the air conditioner in the room was not working, which made the stay very uncomfortable. I reported all of these issues both to the hotel staff and to Booking.com. However, no one has responded to my complaints so far, and I have not been offered any help or solution. I find this lack of response and interest from both the hotel and Booking.com unacceptable. I am requesting that this situation be investigated and that an appropriate solution be provided for this stay, taking into account the dirty room, the non-functioning air conditioner and the lack of response to my complaints.
