Booking.com Took My Payment but No Stay Was Provided – Request Refund
I booked accommodation at Kleinhuisie via Booking.com for 13–15 February 2026 and paid ZAR 2,880, but I never received the accommodation I paid for. Despite the payment being taken, my stay did not go ahead and I was left without the service I had booked. After the booking, I received an email from Booking.com stating that there was an issue confirming the payment and mentioning a refund process, but I still have not received my money back. I contacted both Booking.com and the property about this matter, but my emails were ignored and I did not receive any real assistance or a solution. As a result, I feel that I have been scammed, especially since I no longer have the reservation number and still have not received my money. I am requesting an immediate full refund of the ZAR 2,880 that I paid for this stay that did not take place. I would like this issue to be resolved promptly and to receive clear confirmation once the refund has been processed.
