Booking.com Reservation Failed Due to Hotel Overbooking in Miami

I made a reservation through Booking.com for a stay at a Best Western hotel in Miami, USA, for the dates May 14–16, under the reservation number 4782345. When I arrived, I was informed that the hotel was overbooked and could not accommodate my confirmed reservation. Because of this situation, I was forced to book another hotel at the last minute, which cost me 500 USD. I had already paid 340 USD for the original Best Western booking through Booking.com, and due to the overbooking, I could not use this reservation at all. I contacted both the hotel/Booking.com regarding this problem, but I did not receive any satisfactory response or solution. I am requesting a full refund of the 340 USD I paid for the unusable Best Western booking, as well as a fair consideration of the extra costs I had to incur because I was forced to arrange alternative accommodation at a higher price.
