Booking.com Refused Refund or Rescheduling for Weather-Canceled Trip
Due to weather conditions, my flight was canceled, making it impossible for me to use my hotel reservation made through Booking.com. I immediately contacted Booking.com to request a refund, reschedule, or even a credit to my account—but they refused to provide any solution.
Despite offering multiple alternatives, including using the amount as credit for a future stay, Booking.com refused to assist and kept my payment for a service I was completely unable to use due to circumstances beyond my control.
I find it unacceptable that a major booking platform takes customers' money without offering any flexibility, even in cases where the cancellation was due to force majeure. This is outright unfair.
I demand:
A full refund for the hotel booking I could not use
A credit or rescheduling option if a refund is not possible
Better customer service policies for uncontrollable circumstances
I strongly urge Booking.com to address this issue immediately. If no resolution is provided, I will escalate this complaint.
