Amazon Charged My Card Again After Approving Refund

I purchased adidas Galaxy 7 sneakers from Amazon.com.tr on December 20, 2025. After only two weeks of completely normal use, the sole and upper parts developed serious deformation, and the material deteriorated as if it had been sitting unused for years. Because of this, I returned the product to Amazon, the seller, claiming it was defective. The product was reviewed, the defect was accepted, and I received a refund.

However, based on my research and user reviews, it appears that Amazon may be selling products under “discount” campaigns that have been stored for long periods under improper conditions, causing the materials to degrade. I came across many similar complaints stating that such products fall apart quickly and show serious defects.

The real issue started afterward. On April 6, 2026, Amazon suddenly rejected the return on the same day without providing any reason and recharged the refunded amount back to my card without my knowledge or consent. Reversing a refund after it has already been approved and paid, without any explanation or authorization, is a very serious and unacceptable financial action.

When I contacted Amazon customer service, they told me they could resend the product or destroy it, but they did not provide any clear or satisfactory explanation regarding the charge that was taken again from my card, nor did they resolve my issue. The rapid deterioration of the product raises serious concerns that the materials had already lost their quality.

I made this purchase trusting Amazon’s reliability and customer-focused service, but I have now experienced both poor product quality and an improper refund/payment process. I request that the amount charged from my card without my consent be refunded immediately and in full, and that I be provided with a clear written explanation regarding this issue. Otherwise, I will pursue all legal remedies available, including filing a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
