Protherm Jaguar Condens Boiler Keeps Throwing F4 Error After Repeated Repairs
We've been using our Protherm Jaguar Condens boiler for about two years, and the unit has been giving an F4 error since the very first day. At first, we were able to temporarily bypass the issue by pressing the reset button, but over time this error became persistent. During this period, Protherm technical service came to our home 4-5 times, but each time the fix only worked briefly before the same problem reappeared.
About three months ago, the last technician who came said the problem was caused by the ignition system not being properly seated, and performed a repair. However, shortly after, the boiler started giving the F4 error again. What's more, even though we were told a technician would come again today, no one showed up all day, and no time window was ever given to us.
Right now, whenever we try to use hot water, the boiler keeps dropping into the F4 error. To get the water to heat up, we have to leave the faucet running for about half an hour, reset the boiler repeatedly, and even turn it off and on at the breaker. Only after several minutes does the water finally start heating, and we have to go through this same struggle every single time. Since the unit is still under warranty, we haven't paid anything so far, but dealing with the same problem for this long without a permanent solution is causing us serious hardship.
I'm requesting a permanent and clear solution to our boiler's F4 error, including a detailed inspection of the unit or a replacement if necessary, and a more organized and timely service process going forward.
