Adidas Shoes Torn After 5 Months – Amazon Denies Responsibility

I purchased a pair of Adidas shoes from Amazon Turkey approximately 6 months ago. After about 5 months of regular use, the sides of the shoes started to tear. I contacted Amazon customer service and returned the product for inspection. However, it was sent back to me with the explanation that the damage was caused by "user error." I would like to emphasize that I am a Prime member and have been shopping regularly on Amazon. I liked the shoes so much that I ordered the same model in a different color. Shortly after, I also purchased a third pair of Adidas shoes—again from Amazon. This clearly shows the level of trust I had in both the brand and the platform. Receiving such a superficial response after being a loyal customer is extremely disappointing. No technical report or visual evidence was provided to support the claim of user error. Considering the product’s expected durability, a defect occurring within 5 months suggests a possible manufacturing issue. For this reason, I have submitted my complaints to both Amazon Turkey and Adidas Turkey, and I would like to inform you that I will also file an official complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board. I sincerely hope that a reputable platform like Amazon will reconsider its approach and provide better support to its loyal customers.
