I want to share my experience with AliExpress to guide others. If your order arrives without issues—correct product, no damage, and it makes it past PTT Kargo—then you’re fine. But if your item is damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered, that’s when the real nightmare begins. AliExpress's so-called "Buyer Protection System" is practically useless. Resolving disputes or reaching agreements is nearly impossible.
For example, a seller has been stalling me for 20 days, repeatedly marking the order as shipped without actual movement. I tried to cancel the order, but the system wouldn’t allow it. I started a dispute, and for 10 days now, it’s been "under review." They even requested evidence from me despite having all the details in their system! I uploaded proof showing no shipment activity, but they keep delaying.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, it gets worse. The seller typically insists on a return, knowing full well that return shipping from our country is expensive and impractical. Taxes paid, original shipping costs, and return fees all go to waste. Even if you manage to secure a refund without returning the item, you’ll only get a fraction back—₺400-₺500 for a ₺1500 product.
After my last two frustrating experiences, I’m done with AliExpress. Their minor savings aren’t worth the stress and losses. Think carefully before shopping here—you may end up with nothing but frustration.
