I Face Refund Refusal from Airbnb After Canceling Honeymoon Booking
I booked an Airbnb property for my honeymoon, but due to unexpected circumstances, I had to cancel. That’s when the real problem began—getting my refund. I contacted Airbnb customer service, but they refused to process the refund. When I reached out to the host, they told me it had nothing to do with them and that I needed to speak to Airbnb directly. However, Airbnb insists the refund must come from the host.
This endless back-and-forth has left me completely stuck, with neither side taking responsibility. I can’t even find a proper Airbnb representative in Turkey to explain my situation to. As a customer, I should not have to chase both parties to get back the money for a booking I canceled in good faith.
I demand that Airbnb immediately process my refund and stop passing customers between the host and the platform without providing a clear resolution.
