I Waited Days for Airbnb Refund After Host Rejected ₺20.757 Booking Over Pricing Error

On July 15, 2025, I made a reservation through Airbnb with code hmxrncxkbj and paid ₺20,757. Shortly after, the host canceled my booking, claiming there was a pricing error. Airbnb’s policy clearly states that canceled reservations will be automatically refunded within 72 hours. However, no refund was processed to my account during that time.
On July 19, I contacted Airbnb live support. I was told that the refund process had been initiated and I would receive the money within 24 hours. Today is July 22, and there is still no refund in my account. When I reached out to support again, they gave me conflicting information, this time claiming the refund had already been sent and that I should speak to my bank.
I called my bank immediately, and they confirmed there was no pending or completed refund and that the issue was on Airbnb’s end.
It’s incredibly disappointing that a global platform like Airbnb is unable to handle something as basic as a standard refund. Being given inconsistent information and made to wait unnecessarily only deepens my frustration.
I am requesting the immediate return of the full ₺20,757 I paid and a clear, transparent resolution of this issue without further delay.
