I Canceled My Airbnb Booking Immediately but Still Wait 15 Days for ₺46,000 Refund

I booked a property on Airbnb and made two separate payments of ₺23,000, totaling ₺46,000. However, I canceled the reservation immediately after booking, expecting that the payment would be reversed instantly or within a very short time.

To my shock, Airbnb notified me that it would take up to 15 business days for the refund to be processed. This is unacceptable. I did everything on time, canceled right away, and yet my money is now held hostage without any valid reason.

To make matters worse, I cannot find a real person to speak with. There’s no reliable customer support or live assistance. I feel completely helpless and financially trapped.

For a global platform like Airbnb, such delays and lack of accountability are incredibly disappointing. I urgently request that Airbnb process my refund immediately—not after 15 business days. Otherwise, I will proceed with official complaints to consumer protection authorities.

This kind of treatment toward customers is simply not acceptable, especially when such large sums of money are involved.
