I Paid Airbnb for Antalya Booking But Got No Refund After Trip Canceled
I booked two stays in Antalya via Airbnb for June 7–8, 2025 using reservation codes HM9PXKRAP5 and HMXFPKP22K, and I paid the full amount in advance. Unfortunately, my flight was canceled, so I couldn’t travel. I immediately informed Airbnb of the situation and requested a refund. However, I’ve been met with nothing but automated responses and no real resolution.
Airbnb claims that the refund decision is entirely up to the host, but they take no responsibility themselves and fail to mediate or support the guest. I’ve reached out multiple times, but instead of human help, I only receive generic template replies that don’t address the core issue. I never received a proper explanation, and my money was simply taken without delivering any service.
This is a clear violation of consumer rights. I paid for a service that was never provided, and Airbnb's refund process is confusing, one-sided, and misleading. I demand a full refund and a serious review of this flawed refund policy. If Airbnb cannot protect its users and handle situations fairly, how can anyone trust this platform again? I urge Airbnb to resolve this matter immediately.
