Requesting Urgent Agoda Booking Resolution

The holiday company called Agoda offered on its website the option of free cancellation before the stay date and the choice of payment method before the check-in date. When I wanted to make a reservation a month before the stay date, I entered my booking information, and they also requested card information. I thought there would be no charge, so I provided it. However, an amount of 3,547 TL for three nights was immediately debited from the card, with no possibility of a refund, as stated in the reservation confirmation.

The current nightly rate for the booked room is about 800-900 Lira. When I noticed this, I immediately sent several emails to the company, as it is based abroad. They responded each time that they had to wait for a response from the company since it is a hotel in Istanbul.

I called the hotel; they said Agoda could not cancel the booking, and Agoda's customer service said they had sent an email to the hotel and would respond within 48 hours. Since yesterday, I have been dealing with this problem, as an amount was debited from my account that is higher than the cost for a free cancellation and only for a single charge a month later.

Should I be upset about the unjustified payment or the numerous correspondences with the company? A solution really needs to be found for this situation. I contacted the bank immediately, but they said that nothing could be done due to the debit, and I have been trying to clarify the situation since the very beginning. Immediate refund of this unjustified and unauthorized payment is required.

The travel agency website named Agoda offered free cancellation before the accommodation date and the option to pay upon check-in. I entered my reservation details to make a booking a month before the accommodation date, thinking that no charge would be made even though it asked for card details. However, they immediately charged 3,547 TL for three nights and sent a non-refundable reservation confirmation. Even now, the nightly rate for the room I booked is between 800-900 TL. Upon realizing the situation, I immediately sent multiple emails to the company, which is based abroad. Each time, they said they were waiting for a response from the firm, even though the accommodation is at a hotel in Istanbul. I called the hotel, and they said Agoda might not cancel it. Agoda customer service said they emailed the hotel and would respond within 48 hours. As it stands, they charged my card for an amount higher than the free cancellation rate in a single transaction for a month later. I've been dealing with this issue since yesterday, so should I be upset about the unjust payment or the numerous correspondences with the company? This situation really needs to be corrected. As soon as I understood the situation, I called the bank, but they said nothing could be done since the charge was made. I've been trying to resolve this from the very beginning. This unjust and unwarranted charge needs to be refunded immediately.
