Beware of Unauthorized Charges on Agoda
I was shocked to find that my credit card had been charged 4000 TL without my permission while I was looking at hotels on Agoda. I didn't even get a confirmation that the payment had been made. The transaction showed up as "Booking ID: 973320524" and "Reference ID: 2233972212" for a reservation from August 6th to August 9th. When I called the hotel, they told me they could cancel the reservation for free, but Agoda doesn't let them. I didn't give permission for this payment to be taken out of my account, and the bank didn't give permission either. I want this unauthorized charge to be canceled right away and for free. This is an unacceptable breach of my privacy and financial security, and Agoda needs to take responsibility for it.

Upon checking, we found that our customer service team has received the account holder's request and assisted them through email. Due to security purposes, if they still have any further questions, the account holder can just reply to the latest email sent to them. Thank you ^el
