I'd like to emphasize that I wasn't looking for debt forgiveness, but rather a reasonable debt restructuring option. However, this bank, which appears to have lost its humanity and conscience, flatly refused my request. It's disheartening that a bank refuses to offer debt restructuring in a city where residents are already struggling to overcome enormous challenges. I intend to take this matter to court and through the proper government channels. But I'm also deciding to cut ties with this heartless institution. I encourage everyone who reads this to do the same. With over 50,000 people killed in the earthquake, it's disheartening that some people remain unconcerned.
