VFS Global Didn’t Refund My Courier Fee

My U.S. visa was approved on May 28, just before VFS Global took over the handling process. During my application, I clearly selected Istanbul as the passport delivery location. However, I later found out that VFS Global is distributing all approved U.S. visas through Ankara, without giving applicants a chance to update or confirm this change.
In the email they sent me, they stated that I could collect my passport in person from Ankara. Since I had an upcoming flight and couldn’t risk delays, I used the courier delivery link provided in that same email, paid over ₺1,000, and opted for home delivery.
But days passed, and I received no tracking number, no delivery update, and no communication whatsoever. Their support line provided no answers either. Not wanting to miss my flight, I had to travel to Ankara at my own expense to retrieve my passport in person.
I paid for a courier service I never received, and I now demand a full refund of the fee. VFS Global should explain this failure and resolve the issue immediately. Charging for a service that isn’t delivered—without any communication—is completely unacceptable.
