Turkish Airlines Won't Let Me Use My Open Ticket
On August 8, 2023, I missed my flight 30 minutes before departure and was denied boarding. A THY employee then informed me that my ticket would be converted to an open ticket. I agreed and purchased a new ticket. Now, I have contacted the call center to use the open ticket. I was told that I could use the open ticket, which I obtained on August 8, on July 30. They asked me to create a feedback request, which I did. It has been 7 days, and I have not received a response. Using my open ticket should not be this difficult. Additionally, the ticket, which was ₺2500, is now ₺4000. I have been waiting for 7 days and have been inconvenienced twice. If I cannot use these tickets, Turkish Airlines can give them to their Arab customers.
