Turkish Airlines Van Flight, Denied Boarding and Discrimination
On 14.05.2024, I purchased a ticket from Van to Istanbul. Despite arriving at the airport half an hour before the flight, I was not allowed to board, and my ticket was not refunded. When I mentioned that I am military personnel, I was blatantly discriminated against. The staff did not help; instead, they ostracized me. I don't know if this happened because I was in Van or because I am military personnel, but no one has the right to treat me this way. Despite being military personnel willing to sacrifice my life for the nation, look at how Turkish Airlines staff in Van treated me. I am complaining about the ticket and the ticketing staff at Turkish Airlines in Van. Even though there was half an hour left for the flight, they did not allow me to board. They neither provided a refund for the ticket nor allowed me to board the plane, and I was discriminated against for being military personnel. All of them had a mocking attitude, treating people as if they were a joke.
