Turkish Airlines Tickets Unused After Conflict—Booking.com Refund Request

I purchased tickets for two passengers on Turkish Airlines flights TK727 from Kathmandu to Istanbul and TK1727 from Istanbul to Berlin, scheduled for 24 March (TK727 at 12:45 pm), through Booking.com, and paid a total of 1,424 euros by credit card. Due to the war in the region, our inbound flight was cancelled, which means we can no longer use these outbound flights. When I contacted Turkish Airlines about this situation, they clearly advised me to reach out to Booking.com, since the reservation was made through your platform. However, I have not been able to reach Booking.com through your available support channels and, therefore, have been left without any concrete solution. Given that the inbound flight was cancelled due to the conflict in the region and the journey as planned has become impossible, I request a full refund of the 1,424 euros paid for Turkish Airlines flights TK727 Kathmandu–Istanbul and TK1727 Istanbul–Berlin for the two passengers. I kindly ask you to review this case as an exceptional situation linked to the war conditions and to process the refund without any further delay.

The issue has been resolved. Booking.com customer service finally responded.
