I want to cancel the ticket for the Istanbul - Oslo flight on 02.10.2023 at 15:00, which my spouse purchased from Turkish Airlines on my behalf. However, the bank card used to purchase the ticket has been blocked, and we are currently using a new card. When we explained this situation to Turkish Airlines and requested a refund to the new card, we were informed through the feedback form on their website that the refund would be processed to the new card. Consequently, I submitted the feedback form TK-9445909, including a document showing that the card was blocked by the bank. However, Turkish Airlines responded negatively via email, stating that they could only refund the ticket to the original card used for the purchase. Since the bank card is blocked, it is impossible to refund to that card because it no longer exists. I am attaching the document showing that the card is blocked again to my complaint. In the photo, you can see the term 'sperret' (blocked) indicating the card is blocked. I hope you will take the courtesy to read my complaint this time. Please refund the ticket amount to the new card details, or I will be forced to take legal action. This is essentially withholding money. Sincerely, Turkish Airlines.
