Nuxe SPF 50 Tanning Sun Oil Causes Permanent Stains on White Linen Garments
On August 22, 2026, I applied Nuxe SPF 50 Haute Protection Huile Solaire Bronzante Tanning Sun Oil while at the beach. On the very same day, the product caused severe, permanent discoloration on my swimsuit and a brand-new white linen shirt.
To attempt to remove the residue, I laundered the shirt at 30°C using Ariel detergent formulated for whites, followed by a targeted treatment with Amway stain remover. Despite these measures, the stains remain entirely embedded, rendering the new clothing unwearable. Formulating a premium cosmetic product that leaves indelible, fabric-destroying stains under normal usage conditions—and failing to provide adequate warnings—constitutes a product liability defect. Furthermore, Nuxe's official website provides no working contact number or corporate email address, obstructing direct customer support claims.
I demand that Nuxe customer service contact me immediately, issue a full refund for the defective sun oil, and reimburse the professional dry cleaning costs required to salvage my garments.
