Turkish Airlines Ticket Issue on Istanbul to Adana Flight
Turkish Airlines ignored our ticket. We had a ticket for the June 15th flight from Istanbul Airport to Adana Sakir Pasa Airport at 01:55. We couldn't complete the online check-in due to a system problem. When we arrived at the airport, they told us we were 13th on the standby list and didn't let us board the plane. We paid for our tickets and when we wanted to board, they said they sold our tickets to someone else. This is neither fair nor logical. We are requesting a refund for our two tickets, otherwise, we will take legal action. If there is a capacity limit, you should sell tickets accordingly. What does it mean to sell extra tickets and then not allow the later arrivals to board? If we were late, we would have missed the flight, but we arrived on time. What does it mean our tickets are on standby?
